Images from a very recent architectural photography assignment for a major construction client, tasked with the mammoth restoration and extension works to the Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester.

The project started back in 2012 and the shiny new areas / significant extended works were opened to the public in the second week of Feb 2015. My assignment for this particular visit was internal architectural photography only (apart from the wide shot above showing the famous jacobean-esque red brick frontage), as the landscaping and some exterior polish for the good stuff is still be be finished.
The images will be used by my client for future corporate/ PR campaigns and portfolio.
Look out for a future, more detailed post when I get to photograph the mightily impressive new external vistas too, once everything is a bit more photo ready (UPDATE: See the full set of images on my new dedicated architectural website here)
